I recently went to my best friends wedding. My best friend Chad found his soul mate 3 years ago working at an animal shelter. Chad wanted to adopt a laborder retriever and his current life partner, David was working at the shelter. You could say it was “love at first bite” because as Chad reached in one of the cages to pet one of the dogs, the dog became frightened and nipped at Chad’s hand. David saw what happend and offered 1st Aid to Chad. The two quickly became friends and David helped Chad to find the perfect lovable laborder retriever. Chad and David dated for three years and knew they were meant for each other, they wanted to make their commitment official and married this past July.
Their ceremony was beautiful and their wedding was a blast. David and Chad had an Elegant Reception with black and white decour. They placed disposable wedding cameras on each table so all the guests could take pictures throughout the reception.
At the reception there were instant memory books and polaroid cameras at the entrance of the reception hall.
Guests were encouraged to take instant polaroid pictures of themselves, then add their pictures to one of the memory books along with writing in a special sentiment, or marriage advice next to their picture.
At each table there were beautiful black and white glass photo coaster favors for each guest.
There were beautiful red rose flower arrangements on each table with heart shaped votive candles surronding the flower arrangements. Everything was perfect. The DJ was wonderful and everyone loved the 3 tiered wedding cake that was adorned with a cake topper of Two Grooms in Formal Black Tuxedo’s.
My Best Friends wedding was incredible and the best part of it was seeing how happy Chad and David are together. I know they will enjoy a lifetime of happiness together. Another great thing about their wedding was I met someone special of my own- who knows maybe he is the one—-more to come later……….. dream girl…….
